Sally Gardner ReedSally Gardner Reed is the executive director of Friends of Libraries U.S.A. and the acting director of the Association of Library Trustees and Advocates--a division of the American Library Association. She speaks nationwide and worldwide about the critical role Friends play in ensuring that libraries are fully funded in the community and on campus. She is the author of eight books, including Making the Case for Your Library (Neal-Schuman, 2002). She works and resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
