Pamela Morgan is currently a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Vanderbilt University with over fifteen years experience as a professional librarian. Prior to this she was a Reference Librarian/Information Consultant at the University of Alabama. Previously, she worked in a variety of professional positions: cataloging and indexing, running a small corporate library, and nearly a decade of reference experience at a large urban public library (including Government Publications and Business Science and Technology) before making a career switch to academic librarianship.

Pamela is an active member of the American Library Association, in particular the Association of College and Research Libraries’ Instruction Section, and the Library Instruction Roundtable’s Teaching, Learning, and Technology Committee. She has also served in the Reference and User Services Association. Her committee work includes the Catalog Use Committee, Management of Reference, and Business Reference in Public Libraries.

Pamela graduated with a Masters of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1993. She obtained an additional Masters of Science in Human Environmental Sciences, emphasis in Interactive Technology in 2011.
