Vicki L. Gregory

Vicki L. Gregory is a professor at the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She was director of the School from 1999-2007. She currently teaches Collection Development, Information Science for Librarians, and Digital Libraries. Prior to beginning her teaching career, she was Director of Systems and Operations for the Auburn University at Montgomery Library. Her work there involved collection development, cataloging, serials, and library computer systems. She is currently Chair of the ALA Committee on Accreditation and Treasurer for the American Society of Information Science and Technology. She is the author of five previous books and has published numerous articles.
