Betsy Diamant-CohenDr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen, creator of Mother Goose on the Loose®, was named a Mover and Shaker by Library Journal in 2004. A children's librarian and early childhood specialist, she has had experience working in libraries in the US and abroad for more than 25 years. She writes, speaks, and trains about topics such as early literacy, children's programming in public libraries, partnering, storytelling, children's museums & public libraries, and booktalking. Betsy received her B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University, her M.L.S. from Rutgers University, and her Doctorate in Communications Design from the University of Baltimore. She is the early childhood specialist for Port Discovery Children's Museum and is actively involved in PLA and ALSC.
